After a strong opening win over NC State 45-24, despite missing 22 players and 4 coaches, Virginia Tech is set for back to back road trips to North Carolina. The coaching staff and players will be feeling confident looking at the season ahead, especially if they can stay healthy and help the team avoid future quarantine waves.
Up next is a trip to Durham, NC on Saturday to take on a Duke Blue Devils side that has opened the season with three straight losses. The Hokies will be hoping that Hendon Hooker will be ready for his first action of the season, although both Braxton Burmeister and Quincy Patterson looked in control against the Wolfpack last Saturday.
The week four slate of games will open with Louisville at Georgia Tech on Friday evening on ESPN. Then the Hokies kick off a day full of ACC action as they travel to Chapel Hill to face the currently ranked 12th UNC Tar Heels. The game will air on ABC and kick-off at noon.
