Reacts: Virginia Tech Hokies Love their Men’s Basketball Team Direction - UP!

The Virginia Tech Hokies (#16) are seeing the highest rankings of the last decade, and certainly at 100% the highest confidence levels from the Hokie Nation fanbase. Being #2 in the formidable ACC isn’t hurting much, either.

After winning six of their last seven games, things are looking good for the Virginia Tech basketball team. With that in mind, fans are feeling confident in the team’s outlook.

According to the most recent SB Nation Reacts survey, a full 100 percent of Virginia Tech fans said they are confident the team is headed in the right direction. This is the fourth week in a row to see the number hold that high.

Virginia Tech fans had high expectations heading into the season and hope the team can live up to those hopes. There are plenty of teams, however, that are already appearing to surpass expectations on the year.

Fans around the country were asked which team has been the best surprise so far this year. 39 percent of fans gave that title to the Texas Longhorns, followed by 24 percent that picked Minnesota.

While hopes are still high for teams around the country, college football fans already feel pretty confident they know who will win next year’s College Football Playoff Championship. Even with a large portion of Alabama’s championship roster heading to the NFL, 42 percent of fans nationally think the Tide will repeat next season.
