The Reality Hits Home
There are no two ways about it, the loss of Tyrece Radford is going to hurt the guard position, and the team’s outside shooting. Sugar coating the situation will just make it worse for being a Hokie Nation Hoops Fan.
The statements from the department have been pretty spare since the announcement this morning. Mike Young will have to fill the truck sized hole left in his starting and immediate backup bench. He has capable young players but their experience on the floor has been limited this season. Looks like it’s going to be time for the guards on the bench to step up, and maybe do some shuffling of roles and schemes to fill in the gap.
