Women’s Soccer

The Virginia Tech Hokies climbed to No. 17, in the rankings, on the back of another ACC win. Emily Grace scored two goals, one in each half, to defeat the Pittsburgh Panthers, 2-1. VT is undefeated in ACC play, thus far, posting a record of 2-0-2. Overall, the women of Virginia Tech are 8-2-2. Tonight, the Hokies face the Clemson Tigers at Clemson. You can watch the game live on ACC Network!

Men’s Soccer

The men of Virginia Tech are back in the top ten at No. 9! This past weekend the Hokies tied the Boston College Eagles, 0-0. The Hokies had a massive shot advantage, with 16 total (three on goal) to BC’s seven (two on goal). The match against the Eagles marks the fifth time the Hokies have forced overtime this season. The No. 9 Hokies are 6-1-3 overall with a 2-1-1 conference record. Virginia Tech’s only loss was against the now No. 3 Duke Blue Devils. Tonight, the Hokies continue their ACC slate when they host the No. 23 Louisville Cardinals at Thompson Field.

Volleyball

Conference play continues to be challenging for the Virginia Tech Hokies. The volleyball team did not have the fortune that the men’s soccer team did, against Boston College, dropping the match, 2-3. Two days later VT continued their away game foray at Syracuse where they were defeated, 0-3. The losses have dropped VT to an 0-4 conference record and a 9-7 overall record. Tonight, the Hokies will look to break the five-game losing streak they are currently riding when they face the NC State Wolfpack in Raleigh. The game will be streamed on ACCNX.

GO HOKIES!!!
