When Caleb Farley announced his intentions to enter the 2021 NFL draft after opting out of the 2020 season, it was expected he would be among the top players taken.
Unfortunately for Farley, a back injury flared up at the most inopportune time, forcing him to skip his pro day and have surgery. While the injury did affect Farley’s stock, he still went No. 22 overall to the Tennessee Titans.
Now, Farley is a rich man.
Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network announced Farley had signed his first NFL contract on Thursday, worth a reported $13.495 million over four years. The contract is fully guaranteed.

This is great news for Farley. Sure, being selected in the top 10 would have landed Farley more money, but if he stays healthy and plays to his talent level, he will be negotiating a rich extension after three years.
Congratulations to Caleb Farley from Hokie Nation.
