Men’s Soccer
The No. 11 Virginia Tech Hokies men’s soccer program celebrated their 50th anniversary with an overtime victory of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, 2-1. Before that they recovered from their loss at the hands of the now No. 4 Duke Blue Devils by defeating William & Mary, 3-2. Last night, VT goalkeeper, Ben Martino, recorded his first career cleans sheet (no goals allowed) on the Hokies way to a 2-0 victory over the East Tennessee State Buccaneers. Virginia Tech is 6-1-2 (2-1-0, conference). On Friday VT travels to Chestnut Hills to face the Boston College Eagles. That match will be streamed on ACCNX!

Women’s Soccer
The women of Virginia Tech have found their way into the top-25 and now sit at a respectable No. 19 after two impressive performances against ranked ACC opponents. After defeating NC State, 1-0, the Hokies went on to tie then No. 4 UNC, 2-2, and followed up that performance with a 1-1 tie while hosting then No. 2 Duke. Goalkeeper, Alia Skinner, was named the ACC defensive player of the week after making a combined 22 saves against North Carolina and Duke. VT is 7-2-2 (1-0-2, conference) and face the Panthers, in Pittsburgh, this Saturday. That match will also be streamed on ACCNX.

Volleyball
After losing North Carolina A&T the Hokies opened their conference slate with a step backward. Suffering back-to-back losses to the Clemson Tigers, 0-3, and the No. 18 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, 0-3, VT finds themselves sitting with a record of 9-5 (0-2, conference). Virginia Tech looks to get into the ACC win column, Friday, when they head out to Massachusetts to play the Boston College Eagles. This game will also be streamed on ACCNX! Quite the streaming weekend for the Hokies!
