This looks like one of the last times that Tech will play Boston College for a while. Hokie fans are of a mixed attitude on this one. BC has been a long-term rival, and these games are always up in the air until the final whistle blows. This game looks like a tough one, and the Hokies need a win to stay on pace. GO HOKIES!!!
One final look at the Louisville fiasco. The hoops wins were heartening, but we are still obligated to talk about the football games. Louisville is just one we really don’t want to talk about or remember for that matter. GO HOKIES!!!
The first week in November means the start of the Hoops season, and the Lady Hokies opened at home against High Point University. It was a special occasion because the team got their banner and rings for the Final Four appearance. It wasn’t so special for High Point, though. The Hokies dominated. GO HOKIES!!!
Monday, both basketball teams take to Cassell Coliseum’s Carilion Court to get their 2023-2024 basketball seasons underway. The women have a tall hill to climb but their core strength (Kitley, King, and Amoore) is back for one more try at the big show. GO HOKIES!!!
It’s nearly showtime. What’s the football news, and what are the predictions for this one. This one is going to be difficult to predict because the head and heart are at odds with each other. GO HOKIES!!!
The first weekend in November and the first of the final four games of the season ends up being the most difficult. Louisville is a surprise team this season. Their coach has them ranked and pushing for a super season. We’ll see why it’s the most difficult, and then ask you for your opinion. GO HOKIES!!!
It’s the final four games of the regular season (Ooops, did I just say, "regular season"? - knocking wood, knocking wood) and the Hokies have 3 games on the road and 1 at home to prepare for. Louisville, Boston College, NC State, and the Hoos are the home stretch. Let’s look at the adjusted risk levels. No predictions or guesses. GO HOKIES!!!
It was Thursday night lights in Lane Stadium. It officially wasn’t full, some folks have to work, but it was mostly full, and rocking. Of course, the Hokies managed to curb stomp the Orange so there’s that, too. GO HOKIES!!!
It’s not Friday, that’s for sure. It’s Wednesday and the evening before the big Thursday kick. It’s a big game for both teams. Both need wins. Both are on a certain trajectory. Syracuse wants to change theirs, and the Hokies want to reinforce their direction. It’s staff prediction time. AND some news to go with it. GO HOKIES!!!
