The 8th ranked Hokies had an unusual two-game mid-week local hammer fest with VMI and then a trip down the road to Radford. Both games needed some heavy stick work but both games were wins. GO HOKIES!!!
The Hokie Baseball Team is rolling up some serious numbers, Miami just couldn’t roll with them for most of the games of the series. The Hokies take it 2-1 and came very close to a sweep. The wins catapulted the Virginia Tech to a #8 ranking. GO HOKIES!!!

So, the Wolfpack came to Blacksburg and left with a single win. for the first time ever in a series. Then the Hokies went out 460 to Lynchburg to defeat the Flames of Liberty. It was a weekend rewarded by a #21 ranking by Tuesday's votes. GO HOKIES!!!
