The Lady Hokies hosted the Lady Tigers for a noon tilt in the Cassell. The Hokies were without Georgia Amoore and even with Clemson struggling it was a critical ACC game that was a must win. The team really stepped up and covered the loss of their floor quarterback to pull down a W off the boards. GO HOKIES!!!
It was magic in the 1st quarter, and then things began to shake apart. The Hokies melted in the 2nd half and struggled to both score and keep a handle on the ball. Need to get back to winning on Sunday. GO HOKIES!!!
It was a tough and controversial loss in Tallahassee against Florida State. Liz scores 30 and gets 12 rebounds. Tilly, Georgia, and Rose score in double figures. Duke is up next, there. GO HOKIES!!!
It seemed like it was going to be a tough slog there for about 14 minutes, and then not so much. The Hokies get a bit of a slow start, and then accelerate away from the Hurricanes to remain undefeated in the ACC. Liz does it again, with G and Tilly in double figures. Solid win. GO HOKIES!!!
Holy Cow! Yowsers! And there was much rejoicing... yea. What can you say. The Lady Hokies played to a record sellout crowd that was deafening in the 4th quarter. They stage a huge comeback to have the King to Kitley magic happen to take the game by a point. GO HOKIES!!!
The 13th ranked Lady Hokies travel to Winston-Salem to play the Wake Forest Demon Deacons in the Hokies’ second ACC game, and an important confidence building road game before the big Sunday contest against NC State in Blacksburg. It looked like a runaway at the end of the 2nd quarter, but Wake wasn’t getting that message. It was a tough fight until the final buzzer. Hokies win, though.
When you work to take Liz out of the game by constant double teams, watch out! Everyone else, led by Georgia Amoore will take it to you even more. Six players in double figures. It was a team tumping of the Pathers. GO HOKIES!!!
Well, that was a wet one. A great and necessary win was organized by the Hokies in the monsoon of a cold January Annapolis afternoon. Hokie Nation turned out, and the good team showed up, too! It was a pure winner... sort of. Now, let’s go over the last game of 2023 with some objectivity. GO HOKIES!!!
It was wet... then it got wetter. Tech started a bit slow, but just kept building momentum, closed the 1st half ahead 17-10, and ran away with it in the 2nd half. Literally... 1st bowl win since 2016, 1st winning season since 2017. GO HOKIES!!!
This is a game that Virginia Tech should win. Which concerns the tar out of lots of us. Hokies have been having issues with "should wins". GO HOKIES!!!!
